Kick Off

Underfoot on the Southwest Coast Path, Marty and I, with Nelson and Ellen Kraybill, stopped for lunch at Godrevy Cafe (March 2014). This 1929 Austin in the parking lot just took the cake. The owner invited us to sit in it and he told us the story of finding the car in a barn. All it needed was an oil change, new tires and a tractor muffler. He sped away with a spin and a wave; we paced on across the dunes of Carbis Bay. (Photo by Nelson Kraybill)

Walking’s old hat, blogging’s not. Marty and I have been walking for exercise and pleasure for more than two decades. I’ll be reflecting on walking, reading, writing and related topics. Thanks for checking in, as I blog along.
